The Rice County Housing and Redevelopment Authority (HRA) Emergency Housing Voucher waiting list is open effective June 3, 2021. Applications will only be accepted from individuals and families who are experiencing homelessness; at risk of experiencing homelessness; fleeing, or attempting to flee, domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, stalking, or human trafficking; or were recently homeless and for whom providing rental assistance will prevent the family’s homelessness or having high risk of housing instability. Applicants who are recently homeless will be given priority.
Applicants on waiting lists for other housing programs must apply separately for this program. Applicants must apply for the program through the River Valley Continuum of Care Coordinated Entry System. The application process will include screening to determine applicant eligibility.
