5-25 Landfill fire imageThe Rice County landfill, located off of Hwy. 3 in Bridgewater Township, experienced a fire in the evening hours of Monday, May 22.

The cause of the fire has yet to be determined, but with assistance from state and local agencies, work is ongoing to mitigate any and all issues within the county’s control.
