Community Corrections

Community Corrections works to address the characteristics of offenders that lead to recidivism. To that end, Community Corrections works with the following:

  • Community groups
  • Criminal justice system stakeholders
  • Schools
  • Rice County Social Services Department
  • Victim services agencies
  • Youth service agencies

As a Community Corrections Act county, it serves juvenile and adult probationers as well as offenders who are released from Minnesota prisons. The department takes an evidence-based approach to supervision, focusing our efforts on high-risk offenders and those with the most critical needs.

Vision, Mission & Values
