Adult mental health & chemical dependency

Serious & persistent mental illness
Social workers and mental health professionals work directly with adults with a serious and persistent mental illness, providing and arranging for services such as case management, community support, crisis intervention, therapy, in-home therapy and/or placement for treatment.

Chemical dependency assessment
Assessment services are provided to individuals seeking public funding for chemical dependency treatment services as a result of problems at home, at work, in the family or in the community due to their use of alcohol or drugs. Those requesting services are assessed by a Rice County social worker and are referred to appropriate treatment services when needed.
