Home care
The Rice County Public Health Nursing Service maintains a Medicare certified, Minnesota Department of Health licensed, home health care agency. Rice County Public Health provides Public Health nursing, home health aide and physical/occupational/speech therapy services for eligible clients.
Services
Services are provided 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and on weekends, holidays and alternate times by arrangement. Home health care services are provided on a per visit basis to residents of all ages who are sick and disabled and within the limits of available staff resources.
Payment
Rice County accepts Medicare, Medicaid and other third-party insurances and offers a sliding fee scale for persons without another reimbursement source. Services are not denied because of inability to pay.
