Single-sort residential recycling
Rice County has a single-sort recycling program. County residents can contract with local haulers for their recycling or can bring it to the Solid Waste Facility free of charge during normal business hours.

Some items, such as mattresses or appliances, can be recycled for a fee. Find where these items can be disposed of and if there are costs associated by using Waste Wizard.
Electronic waste recycling
When electronic waste, such as televisions, monitors, and computers are put into the landfill, harmful chemicals and heavy metals can get into the water supply and air.
As a result, Minnesota state law requires proper disposal of these items. The Solid Waste Facility accepts these items, in most cases, for a fee. Determine where these can be disposed of and the accompanying fees using Waste Wizard.
Many businesses offer related recycling programs, often at no cost. A list of businesses that offer this service are below.
